Jamil N. Jaffer is a Venture Partner & Strategic Advisor at Paladin Capital, where he leads work on defense tech, invests in cybersecurity companies, and serves on the board of multiple companies. Jamil is also the Founder & Executive Director of the National Security Institute and NSI’s Cyber & Tech Center at GMU Law and serves on the VA Governor’s Task Force on AI, the board of the National Cryptologic Foundation, the advisory board of US Strategic Metals, and is affiliated with Stanford University. Jamil also previously served on DHS’s Cyber Safety Review Board, as an SVP at IronNet Cybersecurity, and on leadership team/senior staff of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, House Intelligence Committee, and DOJ’s National Security Division, as well as in the Bush White House.
